Research confirms that reading to children for just 10 minutes each day strengthens literacy, models positive reading behaviour, and builds children’s self esteem about reading (especially for boys). Dads Read encourages fathers to invest in their child’s future by choosing to read to them each day.
Winning Media were engaged by the State Library of Queensland in a joint partnership with the Queensland Government and Libraries of South Australia to design and develop the national campaign website for Dad’s Read.
We began the task of designing the site by utilising some initial brand assets developed for Dad’s Read, along with art directing custom illustrations to help create a magical reading environment for Dad’s and children alike. The outcome produced a simple, functional, and responsive website delivering critical information and tips for Dad’s looking to spend more time reading with their children.
