Winning Media has worked with RSPCA for a number of years on their brilliant fundraising site for their annual Cupcake Day. The brief for 2014 was to completely update the design of the site, adding in additional features and theme developments for a variety of new requirements. Each year, Cupcake Day chooses a new design direction and overall theme, so working with their design assets for 2014 marketing material, Winning Media created the new event site.
WordPress formed the backbone of our site development. We ensured the site was mobile responsive across all devices and browsers so that donations and social sharing could occur easily. A new fundraising widget was developed to showcase the amount raised. Social feed widgets were redesigned and updated. Overall, a great result was achieved through beautifully simplistic site design and development. There was also a massive take-up of participants and funds raised for 2014. All who worked on the project were extremely proud.
