Before they were Fuuzio, they were an eager start-up with a dream to empower consumers and save the environment by harnessing the power of technology. Fuuzio’s products aim to help savvy consumers and businesses monitor and manage their electricity more easily, saving them cash and helping them to reduce their energy footprint.
We worked with the Fuuzio team to streamline their brand strategy. Starting with naming, we focused on naming territories to position them as tech-innovators and help distance them from electricity providers. Fuuzio is a consumer-focused name, friendly, distinctive and easy to remember.
After a thorough naming review including IP, domain and asic availability, the name was confirmed and we moved on to creating the visual identity. The custom wordmark harkens back to the familiar digital display style lettering. Partially rounded custom cuts create a more organic ‘flow’ effect through the mark. This relates back to concepts within the brand name, fusion: the process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single entity.
The colours and support visuals make a statement with cool, eco-friendly blues, greens and unbleached kraft paper offset by energetic fluoro yellow. Modern, rounded and condensed typefaces support the custom wordmark and create a bold, but friendly statement.
