Winning Media has worked with the Surf Life Saving Foundation for many years and we were thrilled to be asked to help develop the complete campaign material for the National Boardies Day fundraising event for 2013 and 2014.
The brief was to create a campaign that was fun, memorable, and to deliver a website that educated and engaged as many participants as possible to to help raise vital funds and to keep our beaches safe.
It all starts with the brand. We started this campaign by designing and developing the brand itself and all the marketing collateral and assets that would then serve to help create the style and design of the final website.
Make it bold. Make it beautiful. Make it social. And communicate clearly to the Australian public the need to dig deep and give to support Surf Life Saving. We delivered a custom built solution integrating Artez (peer to peer fundraising platform) along with a custom theme to help manage the dynamic content and social strategy throughout the campaign. We also had a bit of fun with everything we created, so that the participants were engaged and keen to wear their boardies to work on the day.
The boardies day campaign came to life achieving major success as a fundraising initiative for Surf Life Saving.
