Thank you to everyone who donated to rescue Phil from ‘up the tower’. Despite many preferring that he stay there… you have helped raise over $1000 towards the $45,000 total collected from online donations and pledges. WELL DONE!

Up the Tower

Help rescue Phil from Up the Tower! Up the Tower is a simple yet vital fundraising event held annually to raise funds for our volunteer surf lifesavers.

Basically, Surf Life Saving are bringing the beach to the Queen Street Mall (yes, sand and all) and have invited businessmen & women, sporting personalities and celebrities to literally go on patrol up lifesaving towers to help rescue the lifesavers by raising $1000 in 30 minutes.

This year Up the Tower will be held on Wednesday, 15 September between 11am – 2pm and you guessed it… Surf have asked Phil to go up the tower!

To help support our Surf Lifesavers (and to rescue Phil – even though he’ll be up during the swimsuit parade) – we need you to pledge your support prior to the 15th of September by calling Phil or visiting his fundraising page (Donations are tax deductible).
